In short
We collect only what you type into our "Set up a call" form: your name, work email, organization, role, and anything else you choose to add. We store it to get back to you, and email a copy to our team. We don't run ads, don't use analytics or trackers, and don't sell or share your information with anyone. You can ask us to delete it at any time, no matter where you live - just click the delete link in your confirmation email or write to help@eris.care.
Who we are
This policy covers eris.care, the marketing website for Eris, operated by Eris LLC ("Eris," "we," "us"). It does not cover app.eris.care, our product for licensed service providers, which handles health information under separate contracts and business associate agreements with our customers.
What we collect
Through the "Set up a call" form: name, work email, phone (optional), organization or home name, role (Owner, Program manager, Designated coordinator, or Other), number of homes/programs (optional), and any message you write. The form tells you not to enter resident names or health information, and we ask that you don't.
We also process your IP address briefly to run spam protection (a hidden honeypot field and per-IP rate limiting). Rate limiting holds your IP address in memory for up to an hour; we never write it to our database. We do not use your IP address for any other purpose.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request for a call, and to keep a record of who asked and when.
Who we share it with
Mailgun, our email delivery provider, sends the notification email to our team and the confirmation email back to you. That's the only third party who ever sees your submission. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone, for advertising or any other purpose.
Cookies and tracking
eris.care sets one cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie that protects the "Set up a call" form against cross-site request forgery. We run no analytics, no ad scripts, and no third-party trackers or fonts - everything on the site is self-hosted. Because we don't track visitors, Do Not Track browser signals don't change anything: there's nothing to opt out of.
How long we keep it
We keep your submission only as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and we delete it when you ask. If we reply to you by email, that conversation also lives in our mailbox until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you're writing to us from, you can ask to see what we have on file, correct it, or delete it. We don't limit this to places where a law requires it.
To delete your request: use the "delete my request" link in your confirmation email, or email help@eris.care and ask us to delete it. The link permanently deletes the stored submission and tells our team, who then delete the notification email and any email conversation with you.
We aim to respond to any request within a reasonable time.
Security
We host our database on Fly.io in the United States (Chicago) and use industry-standard access controls to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we don't ask for anything beyond ordinary business contact information on this site.
Children
This site is for adults working in disability services. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and the form isn't directed at them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note them here.
